A 2025 leader for BMW Italia, +7.4% compared to the previous year

SAN DONATO MILANESE (MILANO) (ITALPRESS) – 2025 confirmed the results of excellence that BMW Italia had recorded in 2024, giving continuity and solidity to the performance of the Italian branch of the Casa di Monaco.

“The 2025 – said Massimiliano Di Silvestre, Chairman and CEO of BMW Italia – was another intense year, full of challenges, lived with such passion and desire to make a difference. We came from a 2024 that meant the biggest growth rate for BMW globally, as well as the leadership on the premium market. Thanks to the team work of the BMW Italia team together with the network of dealers and colleagues of BMW Bank and Alphabet, we created an ecosystem capable of expressing qualitative and quantitative results of excellence, which allowed us to confirm the leadership of the premium market, reach a total market share of 4.8% for BMW and 1.1% for MINI. Motorrad closes another record year and a share of 42.2% in the premium. At the same time, we also prime in the issue of customer recommendation index for BMW and MINI brands. These assumptions make us very confident about the quality of the financial results both of BMW Italy and the dealer network.”.

Overall, 89,486 BMW and MINI brands have been registered, with a Group growth of 7.4%. The BMW brand has registered 73.230 units, up 3.1% compared to 2024. The BMW share in the premium market rose by 0.6 points to 29.5% compared to 28.9% of twelve months ago. Thanks to these results, the BMW brand has confirmed its leadership in the premium market in Italy. Consistent also the performance of electric and electrified cars that reached 5,046 units and 10,305 units, up 25.3% and 72.6% respectively compared to the previous year. The MINI brand has sold 16,256 units (including 2.371 electric), up 32.1% compared to 2024, reporting the brand to the usual volumes in Italy after the transition in 2024 with the change of the business model (piloting the agency system for the Group globally) and the complete renewal of the range.

BMW Motorrad recorded an absolute new record in the Italian market, reaching 16,755 units (+1.2% compared to 2024), confirming the leadership in the premium market, in the segment over 750cc and over 500cc. The BMW R 1300 GS and the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure are the two best-selling models of the motorbike market over 500cc in Italy.
