MILAN (ITALPRESS) – A dream that never ends, even one month down the road. Sofia Raffaeli, Thomas Ceccon, Aziz Abbes Mouhiidine, Giorgia Villa, Antonio Fantin, Giulia Ghiretti and Alice Volpi – the seven Allianz ambassadors and Athletes of the Fiamme Oro – were celebrated today during the event “A dream called Paris 2024” held at the Allianz headquarters, in Milan. An event to recount the adventure of the seven athletes after an incredible journey seasoned with 8 total medals, namely 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals at the Olympic Games and 2 gold and 1 silver at the Paralympic Games. “The achievements of the Italian champions in these Paris 2024 Games have been extraordinary,” said Allianz S.p.A. CEO Giacomo Campora, “thanks to the commitment of President Malagò and the direction of Coni and CIP. Allianz is proud to have once again stood by the great Italian sport and the successes of our Ambassadors, all athletes of the Fiamme Oro. Our commitment to sports continues with determination, looking ahead to the appointment of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.” Also present was the president of CONI, Giovanni Malagò, who thanked Allianz for its significant support to the world of Italian sports and for its ability to enhance the international partnership in our country with important spin-offs on the territory.Maurizio Devescovi, general manager of Allianz S.p.A.: “We have been supporting for some time those sports realities that have a special attention to the catchment areas of their youth, developing together with our partners also initiatives of integration and social inclusion with our Allianz UMANA MENTE Foundation, which has a project dedicated, among others, to people with disabilities.” An Olympic dream, then, that came true outside and inside the competition fields, as reiterated by Ceccon himself: “Beyond all the problems, the Olympics is a beautiful event. Many people have moved from the Olympic village, but to be there is really incredible.
