MILAN (ITALPRESS) – The State Police, coordinated by the Prosecutor of the Republic at the Tribunal of Milan, 7th Department and Direction of Anti-Mafia District, carried out on 20 February an order of precautionary detention in prison against four Albanian citizens seriously suspected of being, for various reasons, promoters, organizers and participants of association aimed at traffic and the spread of cocaine. The complex investigation carried out by the Foreign Crime Section of the Mobile Team, developed between May and September of 2022 through technical interception activities, pawning services, searches and arrests in scourage of crime, has allowed to outline the existence of a criminal association dedicated to traffic and the spaccio of cocaine with the identification of places of deposit and preparation of the stupefying, of car delivery In the course of the investigation, more than a thousand cocaine disposals were ascertained without any timely solution, for an illegal business trip of several hundred thousand euros. The head of the group, promoter of the criminal organization, a 34-year-old Albanian citizen, was traced to Milan at the residence of Via Veglia where he was subjected to the measure of the custody in trial after the arrest in scourgency of crime operated in October 2022, when he was found in possession of about half a kilo of cocaine.
A second inquisition, a 33-year-old Albanian citizen, was instead traced to Guidonia Montecelio (RM) where he was serving house arrest after the arrest of July 2022 for the detention of 150 doses of cocaine. The two further investigations, Albanian citizens of 33 and 34 years, after the extension of international research by the Procura, were arrested in Albania, by the police authorities of that country.
