ROME (ITALPRESS) – For Nissan, 2024 was a year marked by many innovations, both in terms of products and services, designed to adapt its offerings to the needs of a rapidly evolving market. Nissan’s 100 percent range of Crossovers and commercial vehicles, as well as its service offerings, are now broader and richer in content and, confirming accessibility as one of its strengths, targeting a wider audience to consolidate the brand’s position in Italy. In April, the new Nissan Juke is premiered to the national press at the opening of the Milano Running Festival, at MiCo in Milan. The new Juke, Official Car of the twenty-second edition of the Milano Marathon, is renewed in style and content, with a new yellow livery, new interior and new on-board technologies, as well as a brand new N-Sport version, all combined with a wealth of comfort and safety technologies. Prices remain unchanged from the previous version, and in 2024 Juke sales will exceed 12,000 units, marking a 6 percent growth over the previous year.Also in April, Nissan introduces the new Qashqai, which reinforces its identity and character as a pioneer in crossovers with a new, even more modern and dynamic exterior design. The interior, which is more stylish and comfortable, is made with higher quality materials and finishes. Also new in terms of driver assistance and connectivity technologies for a safer and more convenient driving experience. Also, new N-Design version for customers who want unique and distinctive styling. Lots of extra safety and connectivity content for Qashqai as well, with prices unchanged from the previous version. Excellent sales results for the pioneering Qashqai also in 2024, which is confirmed as the fourth best-selling C-SUV and the seventh best-selling hybrid in all segments in Italy. In July, Nissan announces that NISMO, its sporty brand, returns to Europe with the new Nissan Ariya NISMO, the first NISMO EV model on the continental market. The return coincides with the 40th anniversary of the NISMO brand. The car is designed to deliver strong driving excitement, with an even more aerodynamic design, improved handling and a higher-performance suspension. Looking forward to Ariya NISMO, with first deliveries in early 2025. In September, Nissan takes sustainable mobility a step further, with Nissan eco-incentives of up to 11,000 euros on the entire Ariya range. An attractive offer for EV customers that supports sales of Nissan’s 100% electric crossover coupe, which doubles volumes (+91%) in the 12 months to 2023. Later this year Nissan also introduces the X-Trail Mild Hybrid, which is more affordable than the e-POWER version, thus targeting a wider audience. In 2024, total X-Trail sales will exceed 3,800 units, up 9 percent from 2023, earning the X-Trail 8th place among the best-selling D-SUVs in Italy.Also new to Nissan’s LCV range is the July launch of the new Townstar Evalia, the people carrier version of the compact commercial vehicle. With a seven-seat capacity, available in gasoline or 100 percent electric versions, ample cargo space and rich technological equipment, Nissan Townstar Evalia is the ideal vehicle for work and leisure. Also in November, Nissan will present to the international press the new Interstar, the largest in Nissan’s LCV range, available with diesel or 100% electric engine. Designed for maximum efficiency, practicality and comfort, the new Nissan Interstar features an imposing and elegant design, class-leading cargo capacity and a wide range of customizations in Van and Chassis Cab versions that can be equipped. All Nissan LCVs come with a 5-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty and an 8-year or 160,000-kilometer battery warranty for the 100% electric version. An exciting 2024 for Nissan LCVs, with sales volumes up 31% by virtue of the leap forward of every model in the range: Townstar +7%, Primastar +38%, Interstar +59%.
