COMO (ITALPRESS) – Five of the shields for sustainability. The Group has been awarded as part of the Business Festival, the appointment with which the daily La Provincia di Como makes system with the entrepreneurial realities and excellence of the territory. The award was delivered by Veronica Squinzi, managing director of the Mapei group, 4.4 billion turnover, in the hands of the managing director Stefano Cetti and Valentina Minetti, responsible for Sustainability. The award is the result of an independent analysis of the balance sheets of the companies of the Larian province, carried out by a commission chaired by Professor Angelo Palma and composed by Kpmg members of Como: Stefano Castoldi and Leo Morabito.
“Sustainability is not a fundamental statement – Cetti emphasizes – but is declined to the whole field: from environmental sustainability to sustainability linked to the territory under the banner of corporate social responsibility. It is supported by two concepts, which are the basis of our new Industrial Plan: the energy transition and the circular economy. They are not abstract concepts: every company, every office of our group declines them and practices them in everyday activity.”.
