MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Italy China Council Foundation (Iccf) and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (Ccic) today signed a memorandum of understanding that consolidates and expands the path of cooperation initiated in recent years. According to a statement, the agreement was signed by Mario Boselli, president of Italy China Council Foundation, and Lorenzo Riccardi, president of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China, officializing the shared commitment to strengthen the strategic collaboration between the two entities. The memorandum represents a significant step in strengthening bilateral relations, which will promote the development of new economic, institutional, cultural and academic opportunities between Italy, China and Europe. Italy China Council Foundation and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China have long collaborated on strategic initiatives to support companies and the Italian-China dialogue and, through this Memorandum of Understanding, recognize the value of structured and continuous cooperation to enhance the impact of their respective activities.

Particular attention will be paid to the collaboration within the European project Eu Sme Centre, to the development of publishing and research activities – including the Chinese World magazine of Iccf, which can be further enriched thanks to the contributions of the Ccic – and to the joint organization of educational and institutional events, as well as to the mutual support in the individual activities of the two bodies. “This agreement represents an important step to strengthen our relationship in favor of the Italian system”, said President Iccf, Mario Boselli. “The mission of Italy China Council Foundation is to support the business of Italian and Chinese companies, and to do so in collaboration with other national and international organizations. The memorandum signed today goes in this direction: it will facilitate the collaboration between the two networks, will generate new synergies and will help to intensify even more economic and cultural exchanges on the axis Italy-China, opening further development prospects for the entrepreneurial world of both countries”.

“We are pleased to formalize this collaboration,” commented Lorenzo Riccardi, President Ccic. “This agreement will allow us to more structuredly connect our business communities, facilitating the exchange of information and creating greater links between Italian and Chinese companies who wish to take new opportunities in their respective markets. It is an interest of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China to promote bilateral economic relations and expand support for enterprises.”.
