Agriturist-Confr agriculture “Pasqua in line with 2025, but there is uncertainty for summer”

PALERMO (ITALPRESS) – Discover the area, authentic flavors, but above all relaxation, with a stay in contact with nature and, for the most sporty, many outdoor activities. On the eve of Easter weekend – which for many structures marks the official start of the tourist season – clearly emerges the trend of slow holidays “made in Italy”.

Not only do they indicate the latest trends influenced by international tensions, but also Istat data: rural hospitality is one of the pillars of national tourism. “For Easter holidays reservations are stable compared to last year. For Easter lunch and Easter lunch the structures are complete: we believe it is also due to the effort of our companies to keep the prices unchanged in view of the difficulties of this situation at international level that weighs, both on the wallet, and on the will of the tourist to move”, explains the president of Agriturist, Augusto Congionti.

Looking beyond the holidays, there emerges for the months of April and May a lack of certain reservations, while on the summer front they continue slowly. In this scenario, Congionti proposes “the introduction of a support intervention similar to the 2020 Holiday Bonus, useful to help families and to support the sector at a time characterized by uncertainty due to rise in costs, first of carburetors”.

The farm continues to show a strong internal diversification: those who invested in experiential services, cycling, walking, hippotourism, educational farms and activities related to the territory are more competitive and benefit from a growing demand towards these forms of slow and sustainable tourism.

Enoturismo and oleoturismo continue to be important assets, capable of attracting Italian and foreign and generating stable value for territories and enterprises. On April 13th at Vinitaly in Verona, Agriturist will be discussing the new opportunities for development in the sector.
