TORINO (ITALPRESS) – Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale won the “Design of the Year” award in the 2026 edition of the “Carro do Ano: Trofèu Volante de Cristal” in Portugal. Recognized internationally as an icon of design, engineering and emotion, the 33 Stradale has now distinguished itself also in the most important Portuguese automotive competition, exceling in a category in which it meets without exception all the criteria of an artisan product, rooted in tradition, but conceived for the future.
The 33 Stradale has come to Portugal for an exclusive presentation to the jury, allowing members to admire every detail of this unique creation, from sculptural proportions to the exemplary way in which it integrates form, function and performance. The model was also the protagonist of a special showcase at the Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Armando Martins (MACAM) in Lisbon, presented in an artistic context that underlined the nature of true work of art on wheels. Maximum expression of Alfa Romeo’s vision, the 33 Stradale is a self built without compromise, which merges the brand’s historical heritage with cutting-edge technology.
The importance of the 33 Stradale in Portugal was also expressed thanks to the video “A Dream in Red”, a national production of Razào Automòvel candidate at the 2025 International Motor Film Awards, which was able to capture the emotional essence of this personalized car.
