TURIN (ITALPRESS) – Alfa Romeo continues 2025 with steady growth and increasingly encouraging results. In February, the brand achieved a market share of 1.7 percent, up 0.4 percentage points from the 1.3 percent recorded in the same month in 2024. This result confirms Alfa Romeo among the premium brands with the highest growth in terms of volume compared to last year, both considering February alone and in the cumulative year-to-date, demonstrating a strong consolidation of its market presence.
Crucial in this growth process has been the contribution of the private channel, which has seen an 80 percent increase in volumes since the beginning of the year compared to the same period in 2024. In February alone, growth was 58 percent, a result that testifies to customers’ growing appreciation for the brand’s offerings. This success was largely driven by the Alfa Romeo Junior, a model that is emerging as one of the most relevant in the B-SUV segment.
Since the beginning of its marketing, Junior has generated strong interest among enthusiasts and new customers, attracting an increasingly diverse clientele to Italian dealerships. In February it achieved a 3.3 percent market share in the B-SUV segment with 1,362 registrations. In the cumulative since the beginning of the year, the market share stands at 3.4 percent, with a total of 2,764 units sold.
Of note, Junior is the only model in the segment (excluding Stellantis Group cars) to offer a dual power option. Moreover, also in February, with 114 registered units, Junior ranked as the third best-selling full electric car in the segment and the first among premium brands. Important numbers, then, that are certainly destined to grow with new products coming to dealerships.
In fact, last month Junior’s lineup was expanded with the opening of orders for the all-wheel-drive Q4 hybrid version, while from April the INTENSA special series will also be available, an exclusive version that is distinguished on the outside by two-tone 18-inch diamond alloy wheels and light gold detailing. The body kit, in gloss black with gold detailing, further enhances its sportiness. Junior INTENSA is available in Nero Tortona and Rosso Brera colors. Inside, the atmosphere is characterized by an elegant use of leather color. In terms of powertrain, this special series is available in a 136-hp Hybrid, 145-hp Q4 Hybrid, or 156-hp electric configuration.
