TURIN (ITALPRESS) – The new 136-hp Alfa Romeo Junior Hybrid, the exclusive version that synthesizes sportiness, technology and comfort is available at Italian dealers for a test drive. Also available in the 156-hp Electric engine, with the new hybrid version the brand confirms its attitude to satisfy its customers, leaving them full freedom of choice on the configuration that best meets their mobility needs and personal tastes, without sacrificing the values of sportiness and efficiency inherent in Alfa Romeo’s DNA. In particular, the new Junior Speciale Ibrida offers a 48v Hybrid VGT (Variable Geometry Turbo) architecture with 136 hp. The electric component consists of a 48-volt lithium-ion battery and a 21-kW electric motor integrated into the ‘innovative dual-clutch, 6-speed transmission that works together with the ‘inverter and transmission control unit to ensure maximum efficiency. Junior Ibrida, therefore, offers an extremely smooth driving experience and allows more than 50 percent electric driving in the city; it guarantees electric driving not only in parking maneuvers or at low city speeds but also on suburban routes, under low load conditions up to 150 km/h.In terms of aesthetics, moreover, the new reinterpretation of the “Legend” shield stands out on the Junior Hybrid, accentuating the sporty design of this authentic cool object capable of creating an immediate emotional connection through a symbiotic relationship between man and machine because, for Alfa Romeo, the automobile is and remains an exciting product to be experienced with passion and involvement.
