Allianz celebrates agent network, Campora “We bet everything on them”

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Allianz met with its agency network at the “Giant Slalom” convention to share strategy, involving the entire network of Allianz agents, also attended by a representation of Allianz Next agents, a Group company created through the integration of Allianz Viva and Tua Assicurazioni. The metaphor chosen at the convention was skiing, specifically the giant slalom, less than a year before the start of the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, of which Allianz is a partner. To face the downhill at its best, the agent, as well as the athlete, needs impeccable team preparatory work as well: from the choice of the course to the athlete’s preparation, from ski technology to the reading of the terrain and snow. In this sense, Allianz “Giant Slalom” intended to represent the spirit with which the Company and the network intend to face the year that has just begun together. Giacomo Campora, Allianz’s Ad, shared his strategic vision for 2025 and the medium term, drawing inspiration from the skiing competition metaphor to focus on the main challenges of the insurance market, characterized by rapid changes and increasingly complex scenarios, and emphasizing how Allianz is preparing to face them with targeted investments, innovation and a clear strategy for growth. “We put everything on agents, people and continuous investment in technology, skills and innovation. Every one of our energies is invested in empowering agents to excel, to best serve customers and to grow. Our business,” he emphasized, “is distinguished by foresight in preparing to best serve customers for their protection, health protection and savings management needs. On these issues, the agent has an irreplaceable role, which will not be threatened by technology but rather will see him or her increasingly a user of innovation to be put at the service of customers. Knowing how to compendize the short term, characterized by the increasingly efficient management of the daily flow of business, with the long-term perspective is the challenge-and the opportunity at the same time-for agents, who must make listening skills their mantra. We have put at the center of the strategy the idea of well-being and happiness, both for our agents and for our clients, who rely more and more on Allianz,” the Ad concluded.Paola Pietrafesa, deputy general manager and head of Distribution & Market at Allianz, after recalling the excellent results achieved by the network last year, outlined the three-year 2025-2027 strategic plan focused on growth, aiming to replicate the success already achieved in the areas of protection, health and retirement, and spurring the network to enhance the uniqueness of traditional life policies. He then stressed the excellent relations with the top management of the agents’ union representatives and invited Ennio Busetto, Pierangelo Colombo, Gianfranco Macchione and Paolo Sacchi to the stage to comment on the new three-year economic agreement recently signed by the principal and the agents’ representatives.Among the day’s topics were longevity and key global trends, also explored in depth by speeches from Marco Bianchi of the Veronesi Foundation and Elena Marinoni of Next Atlas.Guests from the world of winter sports developed the theme of performance and the importance of the team: Paolo de Chiesa, Piero Gros and Kristian Ghedina recounted glories and anecdotes from the “Valanga Azzurra.” The theme of the preparatory and daily teamwork deployed by the company to support agents and benefit customers was developed in depth by the Allianz speakers who ploughed the stage in succession: Simone Salerni, deputy general manager in charge of Insurance Products P&C and Claims, Maurizio Binetti, head of Life & Health, Bancassurance Non-Life and Life, Andrea Molteni, Coo, Carlo Balzarini, head of Market Management & Network Communication, and Domenico Martiello, head of Distribution & Sales. It all dovetailed into the speech by Coni and Milan-Cortina 2026 Foundation President Giovanni Malagò, who explained not only the importance and uniqueness of the upcoming Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, but also his highly successful business experience.
