Almost one Italian on two fears the outbreak of a third world war

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The international geopolitical scenario has been experiencing for some years a complex and swinging situation that puts in crisis different countries in different contexts, passing from dialogues and peace negotiations to the risk of escalation and tightening of conflicts and hostility. A scenario that brings almost half of the Italian population (47.9%) to fear for the outbreak of a third world war and the consequent direct involvement of our country. And precisely in reference to Italy, the words of Ukrainian President Zelensky on a hypothetical risk of attack of Russian drones in our country have worried and worry almost 4 Italians out of 10. In all this context, the figure of Donald Trump is also included, which, despite attempts to mediate and dialogues for peace, for his actions and declarations, is considered by almost two thirds of the population a danger that puts at risk the principles of democracy.

Finally, an international scenario of this type has repercussions even from the economic point of view and 1 of Italian on 3, because of the conflict in Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East, it fears for its own savings, while over 1 out of 4, considering also the current situation cannot save at the end of the month.
