Alonso wins in Japan and is Moto3 world champion

MOTEGI (JAPAN) (ITALPRESS) – The first world title of the season is awarded in Moto3. David Alonso (CFMOTO) wins the Japanese Grand Prix and becomes mathematically world champion. He is the first Colombian rider in history to do so. Alonso has, in addition, equaled Joan Mir’s record of victories, dating back to 2017. Nothing to do, then, for all his rivals: first and foremost for Dutchman Collin Veijer (Husqvarna, +0″524), second in the race. third place, however, for Spaniard Adrian Fernandez (Honda, +0″766). Fourth position for Daniel Holgado (GasGas, +1″168): then, fifth Jose Antonio Rueda (Ktm, +1″209). In order, Ryusei Yamanaka, Tatsuki Suzuki, David Munoz, Taiyo Furusato and Stefano Nepa (best of the Italians) complete the top ten. Matteo Bertelle follows in eleventh place: thirteenth is Farioli.
