LIVORNO (ITALPRESS) – It is four people arrested, eight investigated, the seizure of more than half a kilo of cocaine, fewer amounts of hashish and marjuana, and 4 thousand euros in cash the balance of the activity “El Diablo” conducted by the carabinieri of the company of Portoferraio that has allowed to dismantle a network of suppliers of drugs active in the Isole and Rio.
The vast operation was coordinated and arranged by the Prosecutor of the Republic of Livorno following severe investigations started from May 2025 by the Operating Nucleus and Radiomobile of Portoferraio and who had already allowed to arrest a foreigner and an elbano and seize a match of cocaine. With the searchs carried out “the flow of the network of spaccio rooted in the Elban territory has been interrupted and dedicated to the distribution of cocaine on the island”. The investigations have been articulated through technical investigative tools set up with a constant and intense information action together with numerous external control and pawning services on the ground and which have allowed to identify additional subjects involved in various activities of traffic and drug trafficking.
