VENICE (ITALPRESS) – The State Police, coordinated by the Prosecutor at the Tribunal for Minors of Venice, has carried out an order of precautionary custody in prison issued against an Italian citizen of 15 years considered responsible for instigation to delinquer and apology of terrorism crimes as well as self-training and training with purpose of terrorism, all aggravated by the use of the telematic means.
The measure originates from an investigation conducted by the Digos of the Milan Police and of the Treviso Police Department, in collaboration with the Central Direction Police of Prevention – Service for the Contrast of Terrorism and Internal Extremism and with the Internal Security Agency and constitutes the result of the constant activity of prevention developed by the Department of Public Security within the Committee Strategic Anti-terrorism analysis, timely aimed at intercepting phenomena.
In particular, the monitoring of the environments of the extreme right-wing online supremacist emerged to the attention an active profile on a social platform that published frequent incitements to commit acts of violence of xenophobic and anti-Semitic matrix as well as openly apologetic phrases of acts of terrorism and exaltation of the execution materials of the same, so as to state that already in part built a firearm. The further investigations carried out by the State Police have allowed the investigating officer, resident in the province of Treviso. The policemen of the Milanese and Treviso Digos have carried out a decree of search during which several components of easy-to-repair were found and seized, ready to assemble, functional to the realization of handcrafted weapons and ornaments as well as several manuscripts from the arbitration carrying drawings of weapons and parts of weapons and instructions for the packing of handcrafted ammunition. All consistent material has also emerged from the computer search carried out on the devices in use to the investigation. The clue framework, the investigators know, “from which the advanced stage of ideological radicalization developed by the young man emerged clearly”, was shared by the gip.
