ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara, has signed a decree that allocates 30 million euros for the realization of educational projects to promote the care and respect of parks and school goods by students.

“This is an action of great social value, which schools can carry out in the context of civic education activities to be carried out also in collaboration with local authorities, associations and foundations. In addition, public spaces, once redeveloped, can be transformed into real outdoor educational environments,” said Minister Valditara.

The Minister also issued a note to promote the care and cleanliness of school environments, inviting managers and staff to raise awareness of pupils and to establish daily practices to be followed in institutions, in accordance with the new guidelines for teaching civic education and the Statute of students and students of secondary school.

For example, at the end of the lessons, students will have to leave the classroom in the same conditions as they were delivered at the beginning of the day.

“Responsibility for students on the correct use of public goods is important to develop a culture of respect for goods that are of the community. Living and studying in clean and neat teaching environments, taking care of the school’s heritage is an important exercise of civil coexistence,” the Minister added.
