ROME (ITALPRESS) – Skate Italia chooses the path of continuity. Sabatino Aracu will still preside over the Italian Federation of Roller Sports for the next four-year Olympic period 2025-28. This was decided by the 47th Ordinary National Assembly at the Midas Palace in Rome that renewed the federal offices. With a quorum of 78.28 percent of the 721 affiliates present among clubs and technicians, the L’Aquila-based executive was confirmed for the ninth time at the helm of the Italian Federation of All Wheel Sports, with 90.46 percent of the vote. A clear victory over the other candidate Michele Grandolfo that rewards the commitment and work done in the last four years and makes Sabatino Aracu the longest-serving federal president in the history of Italian sports. “It has been 32 years since my first term in office,” remarked an excited Sabatino Aracu, “In these months I have received so many invitations to continue and it has been a great boost. We have done capillary work with all the regional committees. This modus operandi needs to be strengthened, because in our offices, among our employees, the passion for casters is evident. In this what will be my last four-year term, I want to be a father of a big family, our family, our Federation.
