MILANO (ITALPRESS) – On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, BYD and Haier present a joint project that combines electrical mobility, design and technological innovation. At the heart of the initiative “Inside the Experience” there is the desire to transform the car into a real energy platform, able to dialogue with the domestic and urban environment. The heart of the project is the Haier Hub in Via Bergognone 26 in Milan, an immersive space in which adaptive technology and new models of living integrate seamlessly. Here, from 21 to 26 April, BYD Dolphin Surf becomes the protagonist demonstrating concretely the potential of Vehicle-to-Load technology (V2L), feeding one of the iconic appliances of the brand Haier. The V2L system is one of the most interesting innovations in the field of electric mobility, allowing the vehicle to deliver energy to external devices. Thanks to a power of up to about 3 kW, the car can simultaneously feed several devices, transforming itself into a portable energy source useful in multiple contexts: from work in mobility to outdoor activities, to daily domestic use. The Dolphin Surf, a compact 100% electric model designed for urban use, integrates this technology as standard equipment. Based on BYD’s proprietary e-Platform platform and equipped with Blade Battery, it guarantees high standards of safety, durability and efficiency, expanding the traditional concept of car. The collaboration with Haier underlines a shared vision: integrating mobility, home and technology into an interconnected ecosystem. The car is no longer just a means of transport, but it becomes an active element in the management of energy and in the daily life of people. With this presence in Milan Design Week, BYD reinforces its position as a global innovator in the field of electric mobility, showing how new technologies can effectively improve the experience of use and open new scenarios for the future of living and mobility.
