The number one of the Wta rankings, winner of the last two editions of the Slam down-under, surpasses the Ukrainian Elina Svitolina in two sets with the score of 6-2 6-3 in an hour and 16 minutes of play. In the final act on Saturday, the Belarusian will challenge the winner of the second half-final of the day between Jessica Pegula and Elena Rybakina, with the possibility to put the third consecutive title in Melbourne.

NESSUNA STRETTA DI MANO TRA LE DUE

No greetings or handshake between the Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka and Ukrainian Elina Sivtolina at the end of the semifinal to the Australian Open, won from the first.
