ROME (ITALPRESS) – A total of 133,692 passenger cars were registered in January 2025 compared to 142,010 registrations recorded in the same month of the previous year, representing a decrease of 5.86 percent. This was announced by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.There were 474,480 transfers of ownership compared to 459,360 registered in January 2024, an increase of 3.29%.The overall monthly sales volume of 608,172 involved 21.98% new cars and 78.02% used cars.The registrations represent the findings of the National Vehicle Database as of 01/31/2025, while the data on transfers of ownership refer to the certifications issued by the DMV Offices in January 2025.
