Avalanche sweeps Italian skiers in Sweden, two brothers dead

STOCKHOLM (SWEDEN) (ITALPRESS) – A heli-skiing accident occurred in the far north of Sweden on Thursday afternoon, 20, with 3 Italian brothers from Luserna San Giovanni involved. Two of them died. This was reported in a note from the Farnesina.

The third returned to the departure resort, Niehku, in the Abisko region almost on the border with Norway. The Italian Embassy in Sweden is in contact with the families of the compatriots involved and will follow the procedures for the return of the bodies of the deceased skiers to Italy.
