PIACENZA (ITALPRESS) – The State Police of Piacenza, with the coordination of the Prosecutor of the Republic at the Tribunal for the Minors of Bologna, has carried out precautionary measures issued by the gip to the burden of a group of five young people investigated for various reasons for robbery, extortion and injuries within the criminal phenomena of juvenile deviance. The investigations carried out by the policemen of the Mobile Team have allowed to identify and collect serious elements to the members of a criminal gang active in aggregate and rob smaller boys, moving in group, in places of aggregation frequented by young pleasures. The modus operandi of the competitors in the crime initially consisted in requiring the victims to give small sums of money or electronic cigarettes, using physical violence to win their resistances and recovering with the phones what they were doing. The group was not limited to assaulting the malcapitates on the street, coming to chase the victims also on social networks, in order to force them to deliver additional sums of money, threatening new physical aggressions or the diffusion by social means of videos portraying pests. The social component of the criminal group, however, has marked an important turning point for the investigation activity, allowing to identify the identity of the group.
Just through a work of study of social networks, combined with information contained in the databases of law enforcement forces, it was possible to identify the authors of serious conduct, five young people from the second generation. The investigations, in fact, had not yet been evidenced in the territory of Piacenza, except one of them, which had been stopped by the Flyers while trying to steal a car. On the occasion of the investigations carried out in September 2025 the cellular phones of the investigations had already been seized for the continuation of the investigation. At the conclusion of the investigation activity, four of the five inquiries were prepared to apply the precautionary measure of the “prescriptions”, having been detected the danger of repetition of criminal conduct. Minors, who will have to maintain good conduct and take advantage of a school path, have been entrusted to the social service for the Administration of Justice for the purpose of support and control. Children subjected to caution must also follow an educational path that will be developed by the social service. As a result of an investigation carried out by the local Anti-crime Division, the investigations were also affected by the measure of prevention of the oral notice, a measure of competence of the Quander, thanks to the recent legislative reforms that allowed them to apply this measure, providing that they are convened together with the parent or exercising parental responsibility to underline the monitoring character of the measure adopted.
