REGGIO CALABRIA (ITALPRESS) – Two 17 years have been arrested by the Carabinieri on the charge of attempted murder in competition, in relation to the aggression against a peer occurred on the night of 3 July last in Bagnara Calabra, in the Reggino.
The two were reached by an order of precautionary custody and transferred to the Criminal Institute for the minors of Catanzaro. According to the reconstruction of investigators, at the origin of the attack there would be a trivial look interpreted as an affront. The two young people would have, on several occasions, increased verbal and physical comparisons with the victim, until the situation was degenerated into a fight.
After the groups had gone away, the two inquiries would again reach the 17-year-old near a vending machine for drinks. One of the two would attack him with a knife, while the other would explode a gunshot, storing him to the head, near the ear.
The two would then have escaped. The young man was rescued and transported to the hospital, where he was subjected to surgery. The investigations, conducted by the Carabinieri under the coordination of the Prosecutor of the Republic at the Tribunal for Minors, allowed to reconstruct the dynamics of aggression through the analysis of images of video surveillance systems and the evidence collected.
In the course of the investigations it would have also emerged that, about an hour before the attack, the two 17 years would have had a discussion with some employees of a local in Bagnara Calabra. During the altercation, according to investigators, one of the two would point a gun against an employee. The weapon would later be recovered from the place where it was hidden, just before the attack on the peer.
