MILANO (ITALPRESS) – Lombardy Region confirms its commitment to Pro Loco associations with a new support measure of 300,000 euros, destined to the Pro Loco and their Unions enrolled in the Regional Albo. The initiative provides for the provision of a one-off contribution to a lost fund, without obligation of reporting, equally distributed among the persons admitted up to a maximum amount of 3,000 euros per beneficiary, with the objective of concretely supporting the realities that, every day, contribute to the tourist, cultural and social promotion of Lombardy territories. The measure is addressed to the associations and Unions of the Pro Loco regularly enrolled at the regional Albo on the opening date of the call. Applications may be submitted exclusively through the regional platform Bandi and Services from 1 September 2026 to 15.00 to 30 September 2026 at 15.00. “Le Pro Loco – says the Councillor for Tourism, Fashion and Territorial Marketing of the Lombardy Region Debora Massari – arrives where traditional promotion is often unable to arrive: they know the places, their stories and especially the people who keep them alive. With this contribution we want to give concrete help to those who work all year round, often on a voluntary basis, to create opportunities for visits and to make known also Lombardy less known. It is a heritage of expertise and presence on the territory that for Lombardy tourism has an important value”.
“In investing in the Pro Loco – continues – means investing in the ability of the territories to network, promote events, enhance traditions, typical products and cultural heritage. It is a choice that strengthens the tourist attraction of Lombardy and supports the work of hundreds of volunteers who work with passion and competence”. All information and methods of submitting applications will be available on the regional portal Bands and Services and on the institutional channels of the Lombardy Region.
