MILAN (ITALPRESS) – The National Court of Appeal of Nado Italia (Nadab) has accepted the recourse of Rebecca Passler warns the provisional suspension followed by a positivity to the Letrozolo found during a control carried out on 26 January, recognizing the fumus boni iuris, that is the apparent foundation of involuntary intake or the unconscious contamination of the substance.
The result allows the athlete to participate in the Olympic Games in Milan Cortina 2026. Passler will join the teammates from Monday, February 16, the day the technical staff will be available for the next five-round competitions.
“The Federation welcomes the outcome of the appeal that allows Rebecca to return to the team’s disposal,” comments Flavio Roda, FISI President.
The direct concerned also draws a sigh of relief: “It’s been very difficult days – explains Passler. I always believed in my good faith. I thank all those who helped me, from the lawyers who followed my situation, to the Italian Federation of Winter Sports, to my family and friends. Now I can finally return to focus 100% on biathlon.”.
