Bluvacanze group and MSC Foundation, at Christmas more than 400 gifts for the children of parents held

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Sustainability has become an integral part of the daily action of the Bluvacanze Group and translates into the ability to assume responsibility in the present to generate value over time. This is the plant that guides the Group’s second Sustainability Report published in September 2025, in which the progress has been made and the new commitments assumed, with a progressive integration of the ESG principles in the business model and in the future prospects, in accordance with the strategy of the parent company MSC Cruises.

In this context the solidarity initiative entitled “Festive Smiles” is inserted together with the MSC Foundation. For some years, “Festive Smiles” has been collecting toys and gifts for children during the Christmas season. This year the Bluvacanze Group organized it in support of two associations active for years within the Italian prisons: Children without bars and sunflowers. Two realities that work daily to ensure listening, emotional continuity and normal conditions for children and children who experience the detention of a parent.

The offices of Milan, Rosta (Turin), Rome, Naples and Rimini of the Bluvacanze Group have become collection points for gifts intended for minors followed by associations. The gifts were collected thanks to the direct participation of employees, while the company doubled the contribution through a gift matching program, amplifying the impact of the initiative.

“We have registered a wide and transversal membership by all teams,” says Domenico Pellegrino, CEO of Bluvacanze Group. “Retail, Business Travel, Tour Operator and the various departments involved participated enthusiastically, devoting time and incredible affection. The office Christmas trees have enriched hundreds of gifts: a simple and meaningful gesture that reflects the sense of community and responsibility we want to cultivate.”.

The initiative confirms the attention of the Bluvacanze Group towards projects with a strong social impact, in particular to protect fragility, and is placed in a structured path of sustainability that goes beyond the symbolic dimension of the holidays.

In the company, a number of initiatives took place in 2025, including the day of donation of blood in collaboration with Avis Milano and the awareness of employees on violence against women with the association Scarpetta Rossa. Since 2023, the Bluvacanze Group has launched a structured focus on sustainability, involving strategic, operational and communication aspects, led by an inter-company team.
