SIVIGLIA (SPAGNA) (ITALPRESS) – Matthew Brennan wins the 17th stage of the Vuelta at Espana 2026, the Dos Hermanas-Siviglia of 185 km. The only sprint of the 21-year-old British, who celebrates his fifth statement in this edition of the Roja Race, the seventh for the Visma|Lease a Bike.
It was the classic transfer day, with an escape from the zero kilometer. The action went on up to three thousand meters from the arrival, with Paleni remained only from -14, before the sprint with concluding, that saw Brennan mocking the Belgian Jordi Meeus (Red Bull-Bora- Hansgrohe), the Danish Magnus Cort Nielsen (Dan) Uno-X Mobility and Alessandro Romele (XDS Astana), fourth and better of the Italians. Spanish climber Enric Mas (Movistar) remains in red jersey as leader of the general classification. Tomorrow the 18th hamlet, an individual stopwatch of 32.1 kilometers starting from El Puerto de Santa Maria and arriving in Jerez.
