MILANO (ITALPRESS) – BYD announces the operational start of a new phase of its logistics organization in Italy, with Gioia Tauro as a strategic hub for the management and distribution of vehicles in the southern part of the national territory, thanks to the collaboration with Automar S.p.A., operator specialized in automotive logistics. This choice meets a logic of optimization of the logistic flows, thanks to the strategic position of the port and the possibility to manage large volumes, guaranteeing at the same time speed, flexibility and operational continuity. “The growth we are recording requires a solid and capillary supply chain. This partnership is an important step to improve service to our network and distribution. The operating model previews an integrated management that combines marine transport, railway connections and distribution on rubber. Automar carries out the activities in Gioia Tauro through a platform dedicated to automotive logistics and vehicle management in line with the standards required by BYD.
