BYD, registration records in February

With 4,110 registrations, the brand records the best monthly result from the market entry, highlighting an increase of +2,761 units (+191%) compared to February 2025 and an additional +16% compared to January 2026. Growth compared to February 2025 is higher than 200%, with +2.307 units, witnessing a structural and non-episodic acceleration.” In the segment ranking, 3 of the top 5 hybrid plug-in models in Italy are BYD, including first (SEAL U DM-i) and second place (ATTO 2 DM-i). A result that strengthens the brand’s leadership in a strategic sector for the evolution of mobility. Looking at the heap of the first two months of the year, BYD ranks first in the electric + plug-in hybrid, with 7,662 registrations and a share of 16.5%. “The distinctive issue of the month is the balanced distribution of registrations throughout the range. To accompany the introduction on the market, there are two weekends of open doors dedicated: 14-15 March and 21-22 March. An initiative to allow customers to deepen the DM-i technology, test the product and concretely understand the benefits of BYD plug-in electrification in daily mobility. On the front 100% electric, DOLPHIN SURF consolidates its positioning as the second most sold electric model in Italy.
