CAGLIARI (ITALPRESS) – Fireworks at Unipol Domus, where Cagliari stands for 3-2 on the Atalanta and sees the goal of salvation ever closer. They are a double of the baby Mendy, a network of Borrelli and the parades of Caprile to put the seal on the result.
The match unblocks in favor of the Sardinians after only 17 seconds. Adopo brushes a nice cross from the right and Mendy, to the first starting in Serie A, fits well with head and thread Carnesecchi for the 1-0. The young Senegalese is in great shape and at 8′ he even finds the doublet. A corner from the right is picked up by Deiola, who tries to fly by finding the opposition of Carnesecchi but Mendy is the slowest of all to put in, exploiting a deviation of Djimsiti.
The reddish seem in control, but at 40′ are the guests to go to sign and to reopen the accounts. A wandering ball in the area is picked up by Scamacca, who guesses a sweet right-hand in the corner that leaves Caprile stone. The hosts accuse the blow and at the end they suffer 2-2. The Bergamos attack and a minute later they appear in front of Caprile at the end of an action all before, but the extreme defender performs a miracle on a safe barrel right of Krstovic. The porter ex Empoli is still decisive at 44′, when he dives a hornet of Scamacca. In full recovery, it will repeat then on a right of Raspadori saving the result permanently.
Cagliari wins and flies to +8 on the rearrangement area, while the Atalanta slips to -7 from the sixth place occupied by Rome.
