CAGLIARI (ITALPRESS) – Grit, character and determination throwing their hearts over the hurdle. Cagliari wins a comeback with merit in a match of many emotions, overcoming a Toro that was slow and inaccurate in defensive closures. It began with Piccoli serving Zortea in tow, shot deflected by the Granata defense into a corner. Torino reacts with Sanabria and Adams, scrum (7′) swept away in extremis. Viola, at 14′, exalts Milinkovic-Savic’s reflexes then it’s Ricci, in the middle of the penalty area, who misses by crushing the ball too much after an Adams bank. Mina puts in, at 22′, but a foul had already been whistled. On 26′ Cagliari again with Luvumbo for Luperto, the defender, all alone, shoots high from an excellent position.
