CATANZARO (ITALPRESS) – The Carabinieri, under the coordination of the
Public Prosecutor’s Office – Anti-Mafia District Directorate of
Catania, havee followed in the district of Lamezia Terme and in
other centers of the national territory, an order of custody
precautionary detention against 59 people. Fifty ended up in
prison, while nine under house arrest. They are charged with
‘ndranghetist-type association, criminal conspiracy
aimed at drug trafficking, also aggravated
by mafia modalities and purposes, as well as in connection with other
numerous crimes, also aggravated by mafia modalities and purposes.
