Case Almasri, Italy referred to the Assembly of the International Criminal Court for failure to cooperate

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The International Criminal Court (Cpi) referred Italy to the Assembly of the Member States for failure to cooperate with the judicial body in the case of Almasri. The Court confirmed this in a note, thus officializing the decision taken on 26 January and transmitted on 29 January the same month to the Assembly of the Member States. On yesterday’s day, the press release again explained, an Italian representative was invited to the meeting of the Assembly’s Bureau to illustrate Italy’s position on the question disputed.
