MILAN (ITALPRESS) – The Prosecutor of the Republic of Milan has formalized the exercise of the criminal action in the context of the investigation called “Equalize”, focused on a alleged partnership dedicated to illegal dossier activities. According to an official note signed by the Procurator Marcello Viola, the notice of conclusion of the investigation against 81 persons is being notified.
The measure concerns facts for which precautionary ordinances had already been applied to subjects considered belonging to the organization. The hypotheses of crime disputed in various respects to inquiries are very serious: from the association to delinquere to illegal interceptions, to intrusion into information systems of public relevance. The prosecution leaders also include corruption for the sale of confidential data and the crime of slander. The survey aims at dismantling a capillary network specialized in the illicit finding and dissemination of sensitive information through abusive access to protected databases.
