Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, new admission test for Medicine and Surgery

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Starting from February 27th the admission contest to the Master’s courses in Medicine and Surgery, dental and dental prostheses and in Medicine and Surgery at a technological address (MedTec) of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart. The test will take place in two rounds – the first on 27 and 28 February (closed registrations), the second on 17 and 18 April (inscriptions from 2 to 31 March) – in presence (computer-based mode CBT – multisession) in numerous locations throughout Italy: Rome, Milan, Naples, Bari, Reggio Calabria, Palermo, Catania, Cagliari. Applicants applying for participation by 17 February may participate in both examinations. Those who apply from 2 to 31 March may participate only in the second round of April. The competition is 480 for Medicine and Surgery, 40 for Dentistry and Dental Care and 90 for MedTec (interateneo con l’Università degli Studi Roma Tre). For the first round, the members are 4,470: the candidates run for the places available in Medicine and Surgery and MedTec or for the places available in dentistry and dental prostheses. In detail, in 4.279 they will compete for the courses of Medicine and in 191 for the course of dentistry and dental prostheses. At the end of April, candidates will be submerged.

The admission exam consists of a CBT written test of 65 multiple-response questions, which present five response options, including the candidate must identify only one by discarding the incorrect, arbitrary or less probable conclusions, thus distributed: 15 logical reasoning questions; 45 questions of scientific culture: n. 15 chemistry, n. 15 biology, n. 10 physics and n. 5 mathematical questions (with elements of From March 4 for the first round and from April 23 for the second round each candidate will be able to take a look at the correction of his/her own computer and view the score obtained. The final rankings of each degree program will be published once both exam rounds are completed, from May 4, taking into account the best score obtained by the candidate in the two tests, or the only score obtained if he participated in a single exam round.
