Cdm approves proxy DDL on reform of extraordinary administrations

ROME (ITALPRESS) – The Council of Ministers has approved, at the proposal of the Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, the draft delegated law on the reform of extraordinary administrations and cooperative and mutual entities.

It is a measure that, on the one hand, simplifies the discipline of extraordinary administration and makes its management more efficient and, on the other, updates the legislative framework for cooperative and mutual entities, adapting it to the new dynamics of the current economic and social context. The measure is an important piece of an overall intervention put in place during these two years of government to reform Extraordinary Administrations, a gray area that instead of being an instrument of industrial policy was marked by complex situations that disadvantaged companies.

Specifically, the draft delegated law provides for the revision and simplification of the Extraordinary Administration regulations, with the aim of preventing insolvency, making the management of corporate crises more effective and timely, and revitalizing strategic companies through specific measures for negotiated settlement. In the exercise of the delegation of power, the establishment of a special list of professionals with adequate experience, expertise and professionalism is envisaged: among these will be identified the expert in charge of informing the Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy on the progress of the negotiated settlement, according to a scheme that takes up and formalizes the crisis tables that MIMM manages today with an increasing percentage of resolution.
