Center-right, Tajani “Loyal to our allies, not submissive”

ROCCARASO (L’AQUILA) (ITALPRESS) – “We are different from our allies but we will be loyal to the end. Loyal does not mean submissive, it means telling the truth.” This was said by Antonio Tajani, national secretary of Forza Italia, opening the initiative “Azzurri in vetta” in Roccaraso. “We are against the third term because it is good that whoever governs a region for ten years does not turn into an absolute master, and also gives way to another representative of his coalition,” stressed the deputy prime minister and foreign minister. “The latest survey gives us at 11.5 percent, there is no survey that does not give us constant growth but we want to grow further. We will get to 20 percent. The center force of the center-right is called Forza Italia,” Tajani pointed out. “We will have congresses, and in every part of Italy we will have to mobilize to do more here. It is true that we are growing, but we have to make an organizational and political leap. We will change some things,” he continued. “Justice reform was not a whim of Berlusconi’s, we will move forward with great determination,” the vice-premier explained. “It is a reform that affects Italian citizens and the country’s economy. Efficient justice means encouraging investment. It is not a reform that goes to damage the image of the magistrate, rather it elevates the role of the judiciary, it is not a mortification of magistrates. It is an exaltation of due process. “The Forza Italia secretary also spoke about citizenship: “No backtracking on Ius Italiae, which is not a lax proposal. Citizenship is serious. We want more serious rules, maybe even stricter, no backsliding, it has nothing to do with Ius Soli. It means looking at 900,000 students who attend Italian schools, speak Italian, feel Italian. It has nothing to do with those who are delinquent.”
