ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The Department for Youth Policy and the Universal Civil Service today published the new annual Call for Application to the Universal Civil Service with deadline on April 8, 2026 at 14.00. There are 65,964 bans, of which about 1500 are abroad, in Europe and in extra- EU for which young people from 18 to 29 years old, Italian or foreigners regularly resident, can apply online. “Today we have opened the Bando for over 65 thousand places within the framework of the Universal Civil Service in Italy and abroad, published on the site of our Department for Youth Policies and the Universal Civil Service, the second largest ever for this institute. It is proud to have done so precisely in the year in which we celebrate the 25th of the evolution on a voluntary basis, with Law No 64 of 6 March 2021”, declares the Minister for Sport and Youth, with delegation to the Civil Service, Andrea Abodi.
“These places, the result of the project work of the institutions, the quality assessment of the Department and the commitment of the Meloni Government to ensure a significant financing, stable over time – continues – represent an opportunity for growth of the culture of active citizenship and a training investment for our young people. In recent years we have believed in the Universal Civil Service as an instrument for social development, which we have made even more effective with the experiments initiated in the field of digital education, environmental protection and promotion of a primary sector such as agriculture. The presentation in the Council of Ministers and the beginning of the parliamentary path of the bill delegates in the matter of policies for young people and Universal Civil Service, which we intend to approve by the end of the year, testifies the will of the Government led by Giorgia Meloni to put the youth issues at the center of the policies of the Executive, also with a specific article, through which to simplify, rationalize and make the legislation dedicated to the Universal Abodie.
Universal Civil Service projects last between 10 and 12 months, with a service time of about 25 hours per week, and provide a monthly refund of 519.47 euros (for abroad supplemented by an additional daily diary and accommodation). The application is made exclusively through the DOL platform, which can be reached by the end of the call, via PC, tablet and smartphone at https://domandaonline.servicecivile.it, accessing via SPID and CIE. All detailed information to apply is available on the https://www.sportegiovani.governo.it/ and on the https://www.scelgoilservicecivile.gov.it/ and on social officers of the Universal Civil Service. From this edition, moreover, to those who apply to the Universal Civil Service will be attributed the National Youth Charter, the instrument designed for young people from 18 to 35 years to access numerous offers and facilities for leisure, culture and sport.
