Cleveland doesn’t stop, Antetokounmpo a record-breaker

NEW YORK (UNITED STATES) (ITALPRESS) – Eleven matches in the Nba night with dizzying performances and numbers. If we talk about statistics, there’s no stopping Cleveland, which lines up its 13th win out of as many games played, and this time it’s the Sixers who are the losers. The Cavaliers impose themselves 114-106 in Philadelphia with Donovan Mitchell coming close to a triple double, finishing with 23 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists. Most prolific was Darius Garland, who scored 25 points, then there were Mobley’s 14 and Allen’s 11-point, 12-rebound double-double. The hosts (out George and Embiid) relied on Jared McCian (34 points and 10 assists for him), but there was nothing to be done and Cleveland’s unstoppable march continued. It’s three straight wins for the Lakers as they take a 128-123 victory over the Grizzlies with LeBron James dragging his team with another triple-double, this one of 36 points, 12 rebounds and 14 assists, while son Bronny remains on the sidelines. Double-double for Anthony Davis (21 points and 14 rebounds), Hakimura and Knecht make 19, Reaves 18. Memphis brings 7 in double figures with Jaren Jackson Jr scoring the most (29).Also outstanding on the Nba night is Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 59 points. None like the Bucks star in this first part of the season. Milwaukee wins 127-120 over the Pistons (out Fontecchio) in overtime with the Greek national player also putting up 14 rebounds and 7 assists, while Brook Lopez’s points are 29, Taurean Prince’s 15 (with 10 rebounds). Detroit played it out to the last thanks in part to double-doubles by Cunningham (35 points and 11 assists) and Malik Beasley (26 points and 10 rebounds), but it wasn’t enough to stop the Bucks. If Antetokounmpo makes 59, he also gives himself a record-breaking night by Victor Wembanyama, who reaches his career high by putting up 50 in San Antonio’s win over Washington (139-130). A great performance, but so is Jordan Poole’s who makes 42 for the Wizards, but his score is not enough to avoid the knockout. In the other contests of the night successes for Orlando (94-90 over the Pacers with 29 points for Wagner), defending champions Boston (139-114 over the Nets with 36 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists for Tatum), Chicago (124-123 over the Knicks with 31 points for LaVine, while New York’s 46 points and 10 rebounds for Towns were not enough), Oklahoma (106-88 over the Pelicans with 31 points for Williams), Houston (111-103 over the Clippers with 18 points and 11 rebounds for Thompson), Portland (106-98 over the Timberwolves with 17 points and 12 rebounds for Clingan) and Sacramento (127-104 over Phoenix with 29 points and 10 assists for Fox).- Photo Ipa Agency -(ITALPRESS).
