BOLOGNA (ITALPRESS) – Conad announces the collection of more than 3.6 million euros in favor of 27 Italian hospitals and pediatric departments, following the initiative “Let us feel our love” active during the Christmas period last year. This result represents the highest value ever achieved in the five editions of the project, from 2021 to today, bringing the total collection to more than 11.5 million euros. This was possible thanks to the extraordinary generosity of Conad customers, who also this year supported the initiative by collecting Christmas bells inspired by the most beloved characters of Disney animation films, a line of 13 subjects made of recycled plastic (ABS). During the operation, every 15 euros of spending, with an extra 1,90 euros, Conad customers could receive a Christmas bell and devolve 50 cents in charity. “Last year 2,2 million euros were collected, this year 3,65, with an increase of 65%. A result that makes us particularly proud because it bears witness to the strength of solidarity and the deep bond between Conad and the Communities in which we operate. With “Let us feel our love” we renew a project that, year after year, brings closeness and concrete support to those who work daily in healthcare facilities dedicated to children and families who face difficult times” – says Francesco Avanzini, Managing Director of Conad. “In five years we have collected over 11.5 million euros: a goal made possible thanks to the generosity of our customers and the daily commitment of the cooperatives, members and staff of the points of sale, who believe in the value of this initiative. It is a result that drives us to continue on this road, investing in the future of children and the well-being of the territories”. The initiative is part of the great sustainability project of Conad “We support the future”, based on three fundamental dimensions of the daily action of the sign: respect for the environment, attention to people and communities, enhancement of the entrepreneurial fabric and Italian territory. -photo press office Conad-(ITALPRESS).
