BUCAREST (ROMANIA) (ITALPRESS) – Confindustria Romania elected its new president for the three-year period 2026-2029.
The association’s guide goes to Andrea Allocco, who has already been the protagonist in the last three years of associative life as a presidential advisor and called to collect the important legacy of the six years of mandate of Giulio Bertola, founder of the Association in 2003 and an international reference figure of the Confindustria system.
Engineer and general manager of Technology Reply in Romania, Allocco is part of the Reply Group, a leading Italian reality in the digital sector with approximately 3 billion euros of turnover and about 17,000 employees globally.
The associative contribution began several years back in Romania, and it was a path of constant support that guaranteed continuity, deep knowledge of the associative dynamics and a clear vision on the strategic role of Confindustria Romania in the Romanian and European economic context.
“Confindustria Romania must be more and more a place where companies not only represent themselves, but work together. Continuity does not mean immobilism: means starting from solid foundations to raise the asticella, strengthen the Italian System, invest in innovation, skills and young people and contribute concretely to the industrial development of Romania. Our goal is clear: to make Italian companies the protagonists of European economic transformation,” says Andrea Allocco, president of Confindustria Romania, elected on 3 February by the Assembly.

The mandate of the new president is based on some strategic pillars “clear and integrated”.
Confindustria Romania will strengthen its role as an operational platform of the Italian System, promoting a concrete and continuous collaboration between institutions, enterprises, financial world, universities and associations. An action oriented to measurable results, in full respect of industrial identity and operational independence.
The project “Vino Acasa”, already internationally recognized, will continue to be developed as a strategic tool for dialogue with the Romanian diaspora, with an extension dedicated to young generations in Romania, addressing in a structured way the theme of labor and the return of talent.
With the Porte del Futuro program, Confindustria Romania will accompany companies in the concrete adoption of technologies that are transforming industry: from artificial intelligence to automation, from cyber security to new materials. The goal is to transform innovation into a real competitive advantage, reducing risks and creating new business opportunities.
The growth of the Association will move from the strengthening of Young Entrepreneurs and Female Entrepreneurship, enhancing skills, leadership and inclusion as key factors in the development of the industrial system. The start-ups will be at the heart of our initiatives to generate innovation and support young entrepreneurs.
Energy, infrastructure, agro-industry, health and education will be addressedwith an industrial and system approach, oriented to sustainability, security of supply, development of skills and modernization of the country.
