“Meloni boasts about the country’s recovery of credibility in Europe and in the world, but yesterday the Israeli raids in Gaza resumed and she did not say a single word about that: that is where the rule of law and Italy’s European values are spoken about. In the past she had said that the signatories of Ventotene had clear and appreciable ideas: this is bordering on unrecognizable, because if today Meloni dialogues with other European leaders it is thanks to those signatories; she has betrayed Italy’s traditional vocation for dialogue, it does her no honor to renege on what she has been saying for three years.”

We have a clear proposal for common European defense: it is a project that allows us to rationalize spending, spending better and less; we will also take advantage of many innovations, investing in technological advances without wagging our tails behind Musk. We will vote no to your shameful resolution, where you did not even have the courage to write rearmament plan.”
