MILAN (ITALPRESS) – The tension in Milan grows for the parade against the Winter Olympics and against the presence of the ICE, promoted by basic unions, social centers and associations for the right to the house. The protesters, after piazzale Gabrio, have deviated towards the ring road, heading out of the procession. They first started to throw smokers and firecrackers in the direction of journalists, then once they reached the street point blocked by law enforcement forces they started to throw numerous firecrackers and fireworks. The deployment of law enforcement forces is responding with the use of hydrants and tear gas, followed by charges and clashes with protesters.
At the moment, five protesters stopped in Milan for identification. The group of protesters is resting under the tangential overpass, a hundred meters from the anti-Soak estate agents deployed in Via Carlo Marochetti.
