Returning to the episode of the firecracker launched during Cremonese-Inter and who forced the referee to interrupt the game for the care of the case to the grey-red goalkeeper, Emil Audero, the sports judge, Gerardo Mastrandrea, sanctioned Inter with a fine of 50 thousand euros and the “specific distrust” with the following motivation: “To have its supporters, in the course of the race, launched, on the playground, various pyrotechnic material (petars and smokers); in particular, at the 3rd of the second half, the outbreak of a petard launched near a footballer of the opposing team (Audero, ndr) involved the momentary stun of the same and the suspension of the race for about three minutes; It pointed out that, while dealing with particularly serious facts, this judge should adequately value, in an attenuating sense, the available and collaborative behaviour of the company for the almost immediate identification of the persons responsible for the event (Article 29 letter c CGS), as well as the clear dissociation from the serious events in place (Article 29 letter d CGS) evidenced in an effective way also by the players in the field, during the race and at the end of the same”.
“It is specified that – the judge continues in the motivations of his measure -, in implementation of the specific difficulty, to repeat of similar behaviors with risk for the safety of members, officers of contest and staff will find application, pursuant to article 26 paragraph 3 CGS, one or more of the sanctions provided for in article 8 paragraph 1 lit. (c) CGS.
