Dacia Duster “Soul of Dakar,” a one-off with an outdoor vocation

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – On the occasion of the Italian preview of the Dakar project held in Milan last week, Dacia unveiled the one-off “Duster Soul of Dakar,” a unique specimen celebrating this ambitious challenge in the world of motorsport aiming for victory at Dakar 2025. It is characterized first and foremost by a livery created by the Dacia style center that echoes the style and colors of the official livery used by Sandrider, the prototype that will take off from the start next January 3. A livery that certainly doesn’t go unnoticed but enhances the clean lines of New Duster by enriching it with a strong visual presence. This unique example is outfitted with the entire current range of YouClip accessories, solutions that enhance Duster’s versatility even more: several light points scattered throughout the cabin, bag-hanging hooks, phone holders, cup holders and tablet holders, to please even those occupying the rear seats. On the outside, on the other hand, accessories from the InNature range have been installed to enhance Duster’s offroad vocation even more: there is in fact a roof rack that takes advantage of Duster’s repositionable roof bars and allows it to accommodate a strongly off-road-inspired and weather-resistant glovebox, a soft, waterproof duffel bag and a shovel, to get out of the way, perhaps, among the desert dunes.Dacia Duster embodies to perfection the outdoor vocation with which the brand has made its name, and the 4×4 version of the iconic SUV enhances this aspect even more by authoritatively entering the world of off-roading, thanks to the new 48V 130-horsepower mild hybrid engine combined with all-wheel drive-a system managed through an effective electronic system with different driving programs that maximize traction on difficult terrain. This unprecedented one-off celebrates this vocation even more on the eve of Dacia’s debut in what many consider the world’s most legendary and grueling race, the pinnacle of motorsport.
