Defender Trophy, an epic and adventurous challenge to support the Tusk

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Defender is looking for people with an unstoppable adventure spirit, ready to face a new type of competition. The new Defender Trophy is inspired by the Trophy and Challenge events of the past, but is destined to leave its own legendary footprint through three intense stages of training and competition. Only those who are ready to face the impossible, with an authentic passion for nature conservation, should apply. Epic Adventure, Greater Purpose. For decades Defender is the vehicle chosen by explorers and shipping leaders: This new global initiative offers the opportunity to apply in over 50 countries. Registration is open until 10 March 2026, to apply for the European finals, which will determine who will access the global final – hosted in Africa in 2026 together with the Tusk, Defender’s partner for the conservation of fauna and ecosystems. The winners will experience an unrepeatable opportunity: join the team for an epic mission, ensuring that Defender Trophy leaves a positive and lasting legacy on the people and places it will meet. An epic expedition requires a vehicle at height. The new Defender 110 Trophy Edition will make known the meaning of the term adventure to a new generation of enthusiasts, while the competition will be followed online by a global audience. The spirit of the event will also be available on the road, thanks to the Trophy Edition ordered in two exclusive colors inspired by the tradition – Deep Sandglow Yellow and Keswick Green – combined with a specially selected equipment, ready for adventure. “The spirit of adventure and the sense of community have been part of the DNA of the Defender brand for decades, remaining faithful to its roots dating back to the first Land Rover in 1948. Our new and adventurous global challenge, unique in its kind, will unite different nations: competitors will work together to deal with challenging terrain, overcome extreme physical tests and solve tactical tests – all united by a greater purpose. Together with Tusk, our conservation partner for over 20 years, we will offer epic adventures to a new generation of enthusiasts, who will follow the competition online, while at the same time leaving an inheritance to be proud of. If you are ready to face the impossible/embrace the impossible – and share our unstoppable adventure spirit, this is the challenge for you” said Mark Cameron, Managing Director of Defender. To participate in the first edition of Defender Trophy, Defender seeks people who embody the values of the British adventure brand par excellence. Among the fitness requirements required to be admitted: be resident in a participating country, be over 23 years old, be able to swim for at least 50 m, be eligible for guidance and travel internationally and speak English fluently. An unstoppable spirit is indispensable. The new Defender 110 Trophy Edition celebrates the brand’s return in adventurous international competitions and also offers a range of recommended shipping accessories, which make the vehicle the ideal companion for every exploration. It also introduces two colors inspired by tradition, intended to represent the adventure for a new audience of fans. Available exclusively in Deep Sandglow Yellow or Keswick Green, the new Trophy Edition features Gloss Black contrasting finishes on the hood, lower side, brake calipers and rear recovery eyelets. The Deep Sandglow Yellow is a modern interpretation of a historically associated Defender color used in international events in the Trophy style, while Keswick Green celebrates rural exploration of the UK. Both colors can be combined, as an option, to a matte protective film that adds a layer of protection to the body, offering tranquility and greater durability to those who love cimentgrips on short-sighted paths. The ready-to-adventure equipment includes new 20′′′ Gloss Black alloy wheels with All-Terrain tires for a reliable adhesion on each surface, a dark rear protective plate and Gloss Black wheel protection, as well as a black front protection plate. The Trophy graphics on the hood and on the C mount, along with the back Trophy badge, distinguish the special series outside. Inside, the Trophy illuminated entrance thresholds emphasize its origin, while the Ebony Windsor leather seats combine robustness and luxury. The Cross Car Beam on display is finished in the same distinctive shade of the body and features exclusive terminals with laser engraving and Trophy brand. For maximum off-road capacity, the optional accessories include an Expedition Roof Rack1 pack holder, to increase the loading space on full-equipped trips, and a black retractable roof staircase to more easily access the high-end items. There are also available side racks in Gloss Black to increase the space dedicated to muddy, wet or sandy equipment; Anterior and back Classic sprayers; and a raised air outlet for dust filtration. The new Defender 110 Trophy Edition is already orderable, with price from 104,600 euros. Adventure fans can also purchase Defender Trophy official items, a specially designed range that captures the essence of the Defender Trophy experience, and which includes items that will be actually used in the World Final of 2026. The collection includes a line of clothing, including hybrid jackets, insulating, waterproof and light, hybrid vests, long and short sleeve T-shirts, hats, a warm neck, and a beanie. The items, useful and durable, include YETI airtight cups and travel bottles, a 21-liter water-resistant backpack, a golf umbrella and even a light curtain for three windproof/waterproof people. The range includes rhinoceros and peluche lions, which will give the Tusk 7.50 pounds (about 8.50 euros) for each sale, and the Icon models of the Defender Trophy Edition in Deep Sandglow Yellow or Keswick Green.
