Diciotti case, Parodi “Against Cassation devastating superficial message”

ROME (ITALPRESS) – “The unified sections of the Supreme Court are the highest body of expression of jurisdiction. An attack on this type of judge in my opinion takes on meaning, it is not like having attacked the court of Voghera….” This was said by the president of the Anm, Cesare Parodi, regarding the controversy over the Supreme Court’s ruling on the Diciotti case, speaking at the association’s Steering Committee.

“The message ‘Italian citizens’ money we give to illegal aliens’ is a discourse that resonates with so many people and is devastating from the point of view of image,” he added. “We need to think of appropriate responses: we need to explain that such a reading is very superficial but has great impact on public opinion. Let’s not underestimate this aspect.”
