NAPOLI (ITALPRESS) – The soldiers of the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Naples, in Torre Annunziata, have identified a property used as a clandestine print shop, where false banknotes were found and seized for a value of more than 2.8 million euros, holograms for cuts of 50 and 100 euros, clichés, frames, a pc with mass memories, printers, risme of consumption of paper The owner of the club was arrested.
The Green Papers of the Torre Annunziata Group have discovered, on the outskirts of the municipality, a real print shop of banknotes, in which they were already ready to be placed on the market over 2,800.000 euros false, mainly in cuts of 50 euros and, in little part, from 100 euros.
Along with banknotes, more than 12,000 counterfeit holograms were seized to reproduce tickets from 50 and 100 euros. The “laboratory” was equipped with numerous ink-jet and laser printers, commanded by a pc on which a professional program of graphics, cutting and punching tools, clichés, various consumables (special inks, paints, toners, powders) and three frames for the manual finishing of the banknotes. In particular, banknotes undergo aging procedure, which makes them more “lived” and therefore more realistic.
Investigators point out that euro banknotes are equipped with security features that make falsification difficult (such as embossed elements, filigree, safety thread, number in transparency, hologram and brilliant strip) which, in this case, managers attempted to evade. The counterfeit banknotes if placed on the market, according to current quotations, could have yielded, according to an estimate of the polluters, more than 280 thousand euros.
In the property, skillfully concealed, there were also found 2,2 kilos of narcotic substances, largely marijuana and some hashish breads, whose seizure by the yellow flames prevented them from finishing in the local plazas. The Italian citizen was arrested. The gip validated the measure, disposing custody in prison.
