ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Drugs at every hour of day and night, bombs to intimidate debtors, extortions and even an attempted gunshot murder to control the territory. It is the budget of the maxi blitz taken at dawn in Tivoli and in the neighboring municipalities, where the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Palestrina, on order of the Procura di Tivoli, have carried out a precautionary order towards seven people, considered in various ways responsible for a wake of violent crimes.
The operation brought 5 investigations directly into prison, one to the domiciles and another to the obligation of residence, in addition to the capillary search of houses, telephones and computers of 14 people involved in the investigation.
The investigations revealed a real criminal network active between San Cesareo, Palestrina, Zagarolo and Poli, specialized in cocaine and crack traffic. The group imposed its law with unprecedented violence: the victims were seized, robbed and forced to activate credit cards to use for the organization’s scams.
Those who delayed in payments suffered immediate retaliation with fires and explosives, in a continuous escalation also vented in the attack with gunshots to conquer the monopoly of the spaccio.
