CAGLIARI (ITALPRESS) – A 66-year-old woman was found dead in the square of a private house in Selargius, in the province of Cagliari. The alarm was triggered when the owner of the building, a 87-year-old, found the body in the courtyard of the residence and warned the 118, which called the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command.
The woman, of Romanian origin, was housed in the building free of charge. According to what emerged from the early and immediate investigations conducted by the Carabinieri, the woman would have precipitated from the third floor of the building in circumstances that are still subject to careful reconstruction. The soldiers of the Investigative Nucleus of the Operational Department of the Provincial Command of Cagliari, who performed the technical reliefs necessary to crystallize the scene of the event. The Judicial Authority, on the basis of the elements collected and heard the advice of the coroner, has arranged the transfer of the body to the Institute of Legal Medicine of the hospital “Brotzu” of Cagliari, where the autopsy examination will be carried out to clarify the causes of the death.
